Beef And Onion Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. beef stew meat
    plain flour
    1/4 c. butter
    1 c. diced onion
    1 garlic clove, minced
    1 1/2 c. beef broth
    2 Tbsp. cider vinegar
    1 Tbsp. tomato paste
    1 bay leaf
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. lemon pepper
    1/2 tsp. dried thyme
    cooked rice or noodles
Preparation
    Dredge meat in flour. Brown in butter in Dutch oven. Add the onion and garlic.
    Cook, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes. Add broth, vinegar, tomato paste and seasonings.
    Cover and simmer for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Stir occasionally.
    Serve over rice or noodles. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
