Grandma Fawn'S Pie Crust(Never Fails) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 1/2 c. flour
    2 tsp. salt
    4 tsp. sugar
    1 3/4 c. shortening
    1 egg, beaten
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Mix the dry ingredients together.
    Cut in shortening with pastry cutter to a fine crumb stage.
    Beat egg, vinegar and water. Add to crumb mixture.
    Mix and roll as needed.
    Makes 4 large single crust or 2 double crust pies.
