Grandma'S Blue Ribbon Banana Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter (softened)
1-1/2 c. sugar
1 c. mashed bananas
2 eggs (separated)
1/2 c. sour milk
2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. nuts
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Add egg yolks and vanilla.
Next, add sour milk followed by the dry ingredients.
Roll nuts in a little flour, and add to batter.
Fold in beaten egg whites.
Add bananas.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
Increase to 350\u00b0 and bake for 20 more minutes, or until done in center.
When cool, frost with butter cream frosting.
