Wonderfully Soft Raisin Drop Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. raisins
    3/4 c. shortening
    1 1/2 tsp. soda
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    3/4 c. raisin water
    5 1/4 c. flour
Preparation
    Cook raisins in enough water so you will have 3/4 cup raisin water when done.
    Mix sugar, eggs, salt, melted butter, soda, baking powder, vanilla and raisin water.
    Fold in raisins and flour.
    Drop by teaspoons onto greased and floured cookie sheet. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Ovens vary; check at 8 minutes.
