Taco Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground turkey or beef, browned
    1 pkg. taco seasoning
    1 head lettuce, chopped (romaine or iceberg is best)
    1 to 2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1 can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
    1 or 2 tomatoes, chopped
    1 bunch green onions, chopped (optional)
    1 or 2 avocados, cubed and sprinkled with lemon juice to prevent discoloration
    8 to 12 oz. sour cream (light or no-fat work just fine)
    8 to 12 oz. salsa (Pace medium is really good for this)
Preparation
    Brown meat and add taco seasoning according to package instructions.
    Mix sour cream and salsa in equal proportions in a container; keep chilled.
    Prepare all other ingredients.
