Ingredients

3/4 c. soft margarine
1 c. brown sugar
1 3/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. soda
1 1/2 c. oats
1 c. chopped dates
2 c. mashed apricots
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. apricot juice (add more if needed for spreading)

Cook dates, apricots, sugar and juice 5 minutes. Set aside.
