Philadelphia Soft Pretzels - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. active dry yeast
1 tsp. granulated sugar
1 c. lukewarm water, divided
2 c. all-purpose flour (add more if needed)
1/2 c. bread flour
1 tsp. salt
cornmeal for dusting
1 qt. water
2 Tbsp. baking soda
1 egg white, beaten with 1 tsp. water for glaze
Preparation

In a small bowl dissolve yeast and sugar in 1/4 cup of the lukewarm water.
In a large bowl, combine flours.
Add the teaspoon salt and stir in remaining 3/4 cup lukewarm water.
Add yeast mixture and mix thoroughly.
