Beef Stew - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 c. water
4 bouillon cubes (beef)
1 to 1 1/2 lb. cubed stew beef
2 large potatoes, cubed
1 large onion, coarsely chopped
1 poly bag frozen Green Giant mixed vegetables
1 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. basil
1/4 tsp. marjoram
1/2 tsp. black pepper
2 bay leaves
Preparation

Cut beef into 1-inch or smaller cubes.
In a Dutch oven, add water, beef and bouillon.
Boil until beef is almost tender.
Add onions and potatoes; simmer 30 minutes.
Add spices and bag of vegetables and simmer until they are tender.
(Keep adding water to retain original water level.)
Serves 4 to 6.
