Mom'S Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. very finely chopped onion
    1/2 c. very finely chopped celery
    butter
    3 or 4 large potatoes, finely diced
    salt
    milk
    pepper
Preparation
    Saute onions and celery in butter until soft.
    Boil diced potatoes in water with salt to taste.
    Drain most of water off after potatoes are cooked.
    Add milk and mash to make desired consistency.
    Add onion and celery mixture and pepper to taste. Heat together and serve hot.
