Pumpkin Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. canned pumpkin
3/4 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
2 egg yolks
slightly over 1 c. milk
Preparation

Combine all ingredients thoroughly.
Cook over medium heat until thick, stirring pretty often.
If it gets lumpy, beat with a spoon or beater.
Pour into baked pie shell.
Top with meringue using whites of the eggs.
