Pecan Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. butter or margarine
1 c. powdered sugar
2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 c. shortening
1 egg
1/2 tsp. soda
1 Tbsp. milk

Preparation

Mix all ingredients together.
Roll into small balls and place on cookie sheet.
Press down with a glass dipped in sugar. Sprinkle pecans and decorated sugar on top.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 minutes.
I put finely chopped pecans in the dough.
