Carmel Valley Wells Fargo - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 oz. chopped bacon
    2 c. finely chopped onion
    1 c. chopped celery
    1 (No. 303) can stewed tomatoes
    3 c. chicken stock
    2 Tbsp. gumbo file powder
    1/2 c. okra
    2 c. cut up cooked chicken
Preparation
    Brown bacon.
    Add onion, celery, tomatoes and chicken stock; simmer for 30 minutes.
    Add flour to thicken (we prefer it on the thin side).
    Add to gumbo powder, cooked chicken and okra.
    Salt and pepper to taste.
    Simmer for 30 minutes.
    Serve over rice or as a soup.
