Good Dill Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. vinegar (Heinz white)
    2 qt. water
    1 c. salt (plain)
    cucumbers
    2 sprigs dill
    small pieces garlic buds
    thin sliced jalapeno pepper (optional)
Preparation
    Boil the vinegar, water and salt together for 3 minutes.
    Put cucumbers in jar with 2 sprigs of dill, small piece of garlic bud (in each jar).
    I put thin slice of jalapeno pepper in some of mine.
    Pour the vinegar mixture over cucumbers in the jars.
    Seal. Let stand for 6 weeks before opening.
