"Very Veggie" Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 large onion, chopped
    2 green and red bell peppers, chopped
    4 garlic cloves, minced
    1/2 tsp. ground cumin
    1/2 small head green cabbage, sliced
    2 large carrots, sliced
    1 zucchini, chopped
    1 yellow squash, chopped
    1 (14 1/2 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
    1 (46 oz.) bottle vegetable juice (I use V-8)
    1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
    1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
Preparation
    Warm oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add onion and bell peppers. Cook 5 minutes or until tender. Add garlic and cumin. Cook 1 minute. Add cabbage, carrots, zucchini, squash, tomatoes (with juice), vegetable juice, black pepper and red pepper flakes. Heat to boiling. Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer 1 hour. This soup is so good and has only 170 calories per serving.
