Aunt Edna'S Rum Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. vanilla wafer crumbs, rolled very fine
    2 Tbsp. white Karo syrup
    1/2 c. ground nuts or chopped very fine
    2 Tbsp. dry cocoa mix
    1 c. powdered sugar
    9 Tbsp. rum
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients into balls the size of walnuts.
    Roll in powdered sugar.
    Flavor is best if allowed to mellow for several days before using.
    (Put into jars with tight lids at room temperature.)
    Makes about 30.
