Breakfast Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. plus 1 Tbsp. shortening
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Sift flour, salt and baking powder together into medium bowl. Work in shortening while adding milk until all ingredients are formed into a smooth ball.
    Dust hands with flour, if needed, to help shape dough.
    Turn out onto floured board.
    Pat out to desired thickness (biscuits double in size when baked).
    Bake in a 425\u00b0 oven for 15 to 20 minutes, or until golden brown.
