Sauerkraut Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. chopped celery
    1 3/4 c. chopped onion
    1 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    3/4 c. chopped pimento (add oil from jar also)
    1 (No. 10) can sauerkraut (do not drain unless very juicy)
    6 c. sugar
    3 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Mix vegetables with sauerkraut.
    Bring sugar and vinegar to a boil.
    Pour over vegetables; cool for 24 hours before serving.
    May freeze after 4 to 5 days.
