Oyster Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. oysters
    1 stick butter
    1 qt. milk
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Place butter in saucepan and melt.
    When melted, add oysters and cook until the edges begin to curl.
    Add salt, pepper and milk; heat until just before a boil.
    Serve with saltine crackers and for those who desire, Tabasco.
