Molasses Cutouts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    2/3 c. shortening
    1/4 c. orange juice
    1/2 c. corn syrup
    1/2 c. molasses
    4 1/2 c. flour
    3/4 c. whole wheat flour
    2 tsp. ground ginger
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. ground cloves
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. allspice
Preparation
    Instead of all those separate spices, I use 2 teaspoons pumpkin spice.
    After mixing, cover and refrigerate overnight. Take chunks of dough.
    Roll out on lightly floured board until 1/4-inch thick.
    Cut out with cookie cutter.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 14 minutes.
    Makes 6 to 7 dozen on a greased cookie sheet, 12 minutes chewy and 14 minutes crunchy.
