Daniel And Rebecca'S Sauerkraut With Beer - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 small jars sauerkraut
    2 to 3 lb. lean ribs (I use Hillshire 97% fat-free rope sausage)
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 c. sweetened applesauce
    1 Tbsp. caraway seed
    1 can beer
    2 or 3 small pared potatoes, cut in chunks
Preparation
    Rinse sauerkraut in cold water.
    Drain and squeeze thoroughly. Place in crock-pot or casserole with tight fitting lid with rest of ingredients.
    If using crock-pot set on high for 1/2 hour to heat everything, then on low for 3 1/2 to 4 hours.
    If using casserole or Dutch oven, 3 hours at 300\u00b0.
