Marilyn'S Pepper Steak And Rice - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. hot cooked rice
1 lb. round steak
1 Tbsp. paprika
2 Tbsp. butter
1 1/2 c. beef broth
1 large onion
2 bell peppers
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 c. water
1/4 c. soy sauce
Preparation

Cut round steak into 1/4-inch strips and sprinkle paprika onto the strips. Slice onion and separate into rings. Also, slice bell peppers into thin strips. In a very large skillet, brown meat in butter on medium-high heat. Add beef broth. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes or until meat is tender. During this time, prepare the rice. Add onion and bell pepper to the meat and cook for 5 minutes. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch, water and soy sauce until smooth. Add to meat mixture and continue to simmer until vegetables are tender and sauce is thick. Spread cooked rice in a 9 x 13 dish and pour meat mixture over rice. Enjoy.
