Peanut Brittle Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. white syrup
    1 tsp. salt
    2 c. peanuts
    1 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Mix sugar, syrup, salt and peanuts together.
    Cook in 10 1/2-inch heavy skillet at medium high heat for 12 minutes, stirring all the time.
    When candy is done (be sure not to scorch), add soda and mix well.
    Spread out on lightly buttered cookie sheets and cool.
