Cranberry Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 to 4 lb.) chicken, cut up
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 c. diced onion
    1/2 c. diced celery
    1 (16 oz.) can whole cranberry sauce
    1 c. bottled barbecue sauce
Preparation
    Sprinkle chicken with salt and pepper.
    Brown in skillet with butter.
    Remove the chicken to a greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
    In the drippings, saute onion and celery until tender.
    Add cranberry sauce and barbecue sauce.
    Mix well.
    Pour over chicken. Bake, uncovered, at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours, basting every 15 minutes. Yield:
    4 to 6 servings.
