Blackberry Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    2 c. flour
    1/3 c. butter
    2 c. boiling water
    1 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. milk
    2 c. blackberries
Preparation
    Start water boiling.
    Cream 1 cup sugar and butter together. Add flour, baking powder, salt and milk and mix well.
    Pour batter into buttered pan (jelly roll pan), then pour blackberries on top.
    Now sprinkle sugar on top and pour over 1 1/4 to 2 cups of water.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven until top is golden brown, about 50 minutes.
