Grandma Sayle'S Hard Gingerbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter (1 stick)
    1 c. sugar
    2 c. sour milk
    4 1/2 c. flour or less
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. ginger
    2 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients.
    If needed, add enough flour to make a dough like baking powder biscuit dough.
    Put in a 9 x 13-inch pan or 2 (8 x 8-inch) pans.
    Bake 30 to 40 minutes at 350\u00b0.
