Mexican Cornbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. corn meal
1 c. buttermilk
1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1 small can creamed corn
1 tsp. chopped jalapeno pepper
1 large onion, chopped
1 medium bell pepper, chopped
1 lb. hamburger meat
1 c. shredded sharp cheese
Preparation

Brown hamburger, onions and bell peppers in skillet.
Drain hamburger.
In bowl, mix first 8 ingredients.
In medium skillet, pour 1/2 cornbread mixture.
Add hamburger and cheese.
Cover with remainder of cornbread mixture.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 40 minutes or until done.
