Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 qt. popped corn
    1 c. packed brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1/2 c. light corn syrup
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Cook sugar, butter, corn syrup and salt over medium heat until boiling, stirring constantly.
    Boil for 5 minutes without stirring.
    Add baking soda and vanilla.
    Stir into popcorn on greased cookie sheets.
    Bake at 250\u00b0 for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
    Cool and crack with spoon.
