Coconut-Pecan Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. evaporated milk
    2/3 c. sugar
    1/4 c. butter
    1 egg, lightly beaten
    1 c. coconut
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine evaporated milk, sugar, butter and egg in a saucepan. Cook and stir over medium heat until thickened and bubbly, about 12 minutes.
    Add coconut, pecans and vanilla.
    Cool until thick enough to spread, beating occasionally.
