Low-Fat Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. vegetable shortening
1/4 c. cinnamon applesauce
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. light brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 1/3 c. rolled oats
1/2 c. raisins (optional)
Preparation

In a large bowl, mix dry ingredients (flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt).
In another bowl, mix shortening, applesauce, sugar, egg and vanilla.
Add flour mixture.
Mix well. Fold in oats and raisins.
Drop from teaspoon.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
