Puff Pastry - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. cold margarine or butter
    1 c. flour
    2 to 2 1/2 Tbsp. cold water
    1 c. water
    1/2 c. margarine or butter
    1 c. flour
    3 eggs
    1 c. confectioners sugar
    1 Tbsp. margarine or butter, softened
    1 tsp. almond extract
    1 Tbsp. milk
    slivered almonds
Preparation
    To prevent crust from getting \"soggy\" with a cream pie, first sprinkle crust with powdered sugar.
