Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 c. sour cream
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. vanilla
    4 c. flour
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar; add the beaten eggs, sour cream and vanilla.
    Mix well, then add flour which has been sifted with baking powder and soda.
    Cream all together until smooth.
    Chill dough in refrigerator for about 1 hour.
    Take out chilled dough and cut into desired shapes.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes, depending on thickness of dough.
