Wild Rice With Mushrooms And Almonds - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. mushrooms
    1 c. wild rice
    1/4 lb. butter
    1 small onion, chopped
    3 c. chicken stock or broth
    3/4 c. slivered almonds
    1/4 green or red pepper, chopped (optional)
    1/2 c. chopped celery
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients, except stock, and saute in heavy frying pan until rice turns yellowish, stirring frequently.
    Add stock and bake in tightly covered casserole for 2 hours at 325\u00b0.
