Onion Rings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large onion
    milk (to cover onion)
    lard or oil
    1 c. flour
    1/4 tsp salt
Preparation
    Peel and cut onion into 1/4 inch slices.
    Separate slices and place in pan.
    Cover onions with milk and marinate for 1/2 hour. Dip in slated flour.
    Fry in hot fat until golden brown.
    Serve hot.
