Raw Fries - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. potatoes, peeled and sliced
    4 Tbsp. margarine
    1/2 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
Preparation
    Melt 2 tablespoons margarine in heavy skillet.
    Arrange potatoes in 3 layers.
    Sprinkle each layer with salt and pepper. Dot top with 2 tablespoons margarine.
    Cover; cook over medium heat for 20 minutes.
    Uncover, turn and cook until potatoes are brown.
    Makes 4 to 6 servings.
