Amish Hot Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 slices bacon
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    1/4 c. vinegar
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 egg, beaten
    1 qt. hot, cooked, cubed potatoes
    1/4 c. grated raw carrots
    3 hard-cooked eggs
Preparation
    In large skillet, dice bacon and pan fry.
    Add onion and pepper and cook 3 minutes.
    Add vinegar, salt, pepper, sugar and beaten egg.
    Cook 1 minute.
    Add potatoes, carrots and diced hard-cooked eggs.
    Blend and serve hot.
