Fresh Lemon Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. cornstarch or 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. boiling water
3 egg yolks
1/4 c. lemon juice
grated rind of 1 lemon
1 baked pie shell
Preparation

Mix dry ingredients together; add boiling water.
Cook until thick (medium heat).
Mix a little mixture with beaten egg yolks and add to mixture.
Cook 3 minutes longer; cool.
Beat 3 egg whites until stiff; gradually add 2 tablespoons of sugar.
Beat again until stiff.
Pour filling in pie crust.
Spread meringue to very edge.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
