Cornbread Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. cornbread mix
    1 onion, chopped (green onions are best, stems and all)
    1 small bell pepper, chopped
    2 tomatoes, chopped
    1 to 1 1/2 c. mayonnaise or salad dressing
Preparation
    Cook cornbread according to directions.
    Cool and crumble into fine crumbs.
    Mix other ingredients with cornbread.
    May be made the night before.
    When ready to serve, mix in enough of mayonnaise or salad dressing to make mixture moist.
    May be served cool or warm.
