Chocolate Cake Delight - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. cocoa
    1/2 c. boiling water
    2/3 c. shortening
    1 3/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs
    2 1/4 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Melt cocoa in boiling water.
    Cream shortening, sugar and vanilla until fluffy.
    Add eggs; beat well.
    Combine flour, baking soda and salt.
    Add alternately with milk.
    Add cocoa.
    Beat 2 minutes.
    Makes 2 (8-inch) layers or one 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
