Secret Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. sifted plain flour
1 stick butter or margarine
1 c. water
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. Crisco
3 1/2 Tbsp. cocoa
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt

Preparation

Mix flour and sugar; set aside.
Melt and cook together margarine, water and cocoa.
Let come to a boil; pour over sugar and flour.
Mix well.
Add buttermilk, eggs, soda, salt and vanilla; mix well.
Pour into greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes at 375\u00b0.
Do not overcook.
