Banana Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1 1/3 c. brown sugar
2 well beaten eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. soda
1/4 c. sour milk
1 c. ripe banana, mashed
Preparation

Thoroughly cream shortening and sugar; add eggs and vanilla, beat until fluffy.
Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with sour milk and mashed banana, beating well after each addition. Bake in greased 6 1/2 x 10 1/2-inch pan at 350\u00b0 for 50 minutes. Frost with caramel frosting or eat plain.
