Peach Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. self-rising flour
    2/3 stick butter
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. sugar (for cobbler)
Preparation
    Peel and slice fresh ripe peaches.
    Place in oblong baking dish.
    Blend all ingredients well.
    Spread on top of peaches. Bake 40 minutes in a 350\u00b0 oven.
    Can be served with ice cream.
