Rhubarb Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. brown sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. sour milk or buttermilk
    2 1/2 c. unbleached flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/2 c. rhubarb, cut fine
Preparation
    Mix shortening, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla and buttermilk. Gradually add flour, salt, baking soda and baking powder.
    Add rhubarb and mix just enough to coat it completely with batter. Put in a 9 x 13-inch pan and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
    (I mix 2 or 3 tablespoons sugar with about 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon.)
