Lemon Ice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    3/4 c. lemon juice
    1 qt. water
    fruit of your choice
Preparation
    Combine sugar and water; bring to a boil.
    Boil for 5 minutes; cool.
    Add lemon juice; place in freezer tray.
    Freeze.
    Serve scraped ice in sherbet glasses, topped with pineapple chunks, strawberries, bananas or oranges.
