Mincemeat Cake - cooking recipe

1 large jar mincemeat
4 c. plain sifted flour
3/4 c. cooking oil
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda
2 c. buttermilk
2 c. sugar
Preparation

Generously grease and flour tubular cake pan.
Combine sugar and mincemeat; mix well.
Add 2 cups flour and 1 cup buttermilk. Mix well again.
Add remaining flour and milk; mix well.
Pour into cake pan and bake for 1 1/2 hours at 325\u00b0.
Remove from oven, letting cool for about 10 minutes.
Remove from pan.
Remaining cake can be frozen.
