Ingredients

1/4 c. butter or margarine, softened
1 c. packed brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 c. quick cooking oats
1/2 c. apple butter
1 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. milk
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. raisins
Preparation

In a mixing bowl, cream sugar and butter or margarine.
Beat in egg, oats and apple butter.
Combine dry ingredients, gradually adding to the creamed mixture, along with the milk.
Beat until blended.
Stir in nuts and raisins.
Chill, then drop by teaspoon onto lightly greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes. Yield:
2 1/2 dozen.
