Raisin Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. raisins
    1 c. water
    1/2 c. oil
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1 3/4 c. sifted flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. allspice
    1/4 tsp. cloves
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Combine raisins and water. Bring to boil. Remove from heat. Stir in oil. Cool. Stir in sugar and egg. Sift dry ingredients. Beat into raisin mixture. Stir in nuts. Pour into 9 x 13 pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes. Cool and cut into bars.
