Cucumber Tea Sandwiches - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    cucumbers, thinly sliced
    onions, thinly sliced
    vinegar
    salt and pepper
    1/3 c mayonnaise
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    2 to 3 tsp. reserved vinegar mixture
    bread slices, crusts removed
    mayonnaise
Preparation
    Soak cucumbers and onions overnight in vinegar, salt and pepper.
    Soften cream cheese and mix with mayonnaise.
    Add 2 to 3 teaspoons vinegar to mixture.
    Spread bread with mayonnaise. Spread cream cheese mixture over mayonnaise.
    Put a slice of cucumber on 4 corners of slice of bread.
    Add slivers of onion on top of each 2 pieces of cucumber.
    Sprinkle on a dash of salt and cover with other piece of bread.
    Cover with damp tea towel until ready to serve.
    Cut into quarters.
