Nut Muffins - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sifted flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg, beaten
1 c. milk
1/4 c. soft or melted fat
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Heat oven to 400\u00b0.
Grease muffin cups.
Sift together flour, baking powder, sugar and salt in large bowl.
Make a well in the center.
In mixing bowl, beat egg until foamy.
Add milk and melted fat.
Add milk mixture to dry ingredients.
Stir in nuts. Stir until mixture is moist, but slightly lumpy.
Fill muffin cups, 1/2 to 2/3 full.
Bake for 15 to 20 minutes.
Yield:
12 servings.
