Chicken Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. cooked chicken, cubed
    1/2 c. onion, chopped
    1/2 c. celery, chopped
    1/2 c. salad dressing
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    9 slices bread (trim off crusts)
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1 c. mushroom soup
    6 slices mild cheese (such as Velveeta)
Preparation
    Grease a 9 x 13 x 2-inch casserole dish.
    Cube 3 slices of bread and place in bottom of casserole.
    Cover with mixture of chicken, onion, celery, salad dressing, salt and pepper.
    Place 6 slices of bread over the mixture.
