Quick Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 garlic clove, minced
    1 c. chopped onion
    2 c. coarsely chopped cabbage
    1 (16 oz.) pkg. mixed vegetables
    1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes, drained
    2 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 c. water
    1 c. shelled macaroni
    1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Brown ground beef.
    Add all other ingredients except macaroni and simmer for 15 minutes.
    Remove from heat.
    Sprinkle each serving with Parmesan cheese.
